Cyanotype printing workshop

Drawing on my research and practice in alternative photographic processes, I offer a hands-on workshop dedicated to the art of cyanotype printing.

The day or half-day workshop is designed for beginners and artists alike, offering a tactile, comprehensive introduction to one of the earliest photographic methods.

I can guide participants through every stage of the process – from mixing chemistry safely and coating paper to arranging botanical compositions and exposing prints under sunlight or UV lamps.

Participants learn the nuances of exposure, paper handling and tone manipulation, leaving with a collection of their own Prussian blue prints and the confidence to continue printing at home.

World-building workshop

With the support of Revolv Collective, I have drawn upon my experience, research and passion to put together a workshop themed around world-building.

The day workshop is applicable to any artist and can be delivered online or in person. I take participants through all aspects of the world-building process – from thinking about what a world is to the different methods we can use to use to build one.

It includes several short exercises where participants write about their worlds, create maps, visualise soundscapes and sketch. The goal is that each participant leaves the workshop with their own world, and ideas of how they might respond to it through their practice.
